SOC analyst

Computest started out in 2005 as a group of friends, and you can still feel that as soon as you step into our office. We're a bunch of super-social nerds. How do we describe ourselves? Personable, enthusiastic and down-to-earth. New colleagues quickly feel at home with us (especially if they're up for a nice drink and a good joke every now and then). We are growing fast and for our newest department 'Detect' we are looking for enthusiastic SOC analysts. Will you join our team?

What you will be doing

  • When a security incident occurs at a customer, we triage it in the Security Operations Center (SOC). If an incident is reported from the first line, you will be involved in monitoring and performing the second-line triage.
  • You regularly dive into customer environments to optimize detection. Found noise? Get rid of it. Identified relevant use cases that fit well with the customer? You implement them in their environment.
  • Never waste a good incident! Based on analyzed and resolved incidents, you provide input for new use cases.
  • You frequently participate in customer meetings to provide additional insights into incidents that have occurred.
  • Is a new customer joining the SOC environment? You are ready to give them a demo of our working method.
  • We all started somewhere... You support our junior SOC analysts and enjoy sharing your knowledge with them.
  • On-call duty? You are more than happy to do that.

What you’ll get

  • A good salary that matches your experience.
  • A one-year contract (if we are both enthusiastic after a year, you will receive a permanent contract).
  • A good smartphone and laptop.
  • We’re growing fast, and we want you to grow with us. Want to further develop in your role? We’ll explore the possibilities together.
  • Flexible working hours, including the option to (partially) work from home.
  • Great parties, team outings, monthly get-togethers and study trips.
  • A lavish lunch buffet, made with love by Job and Lia.

This is you

  • You enjoy solving technical puzzles.
  • Helping customers gives you energy.
  • Your social antennae are always on: you help junior colleagues when they need it.

This is what you have got

  • A university or university of applied sciences degree, along with some experience in the field.
  • Or a completed MBO education with at least 5 years of experience as a system or network administrator.
  • An excellent command of both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
  • Familiar with MDR, SIEM and Endpoint? That's a bonus!

Like the sound of that?

Then fill out the form. We will be on the phone soon to get to know you!
